Whether you're a foodie or simply curious about the space where food meets history, please join us for this walking tour that explores both. Explore Hoboken – the Square Mile City and “sixth borough” – rich in history, with stops at the homes of Frank Sinatra, photographer artist Alfred Stieglitz, and composer Stephen Foster (Swanee River, Camptown Races) as well as the birthplace of baseball and locations associated with Edgar Allen Poe, Gen. William T. Sherman, Woodrow Wilson, and the film, On the Waterfront. Along the way, just some of what you might sample will include world-famous Hoboken bread; some pizza from the Italian district there; German pastry from the bakery sharing that ethnic tradition; and a choice of cannoli or an ice cream cone from the very city where it was invented!
